Business Operations Intern - Fall 2026

About the role#

Magnet Media is seeking a Business Operations Intern to work directly with the CEO and senior leadership on high-priority projects across operations and growth. This role focuses on strategic planning, operational efficiency, and the use of AI-driven initiatives to streamline company-wide workflows.

What you'll do#

• Work directly in HubSpot to standardize naming conventions, clean backend data, and ensure CRM records are audit-ready.
• Assist in standardizing how quarterly proposals are logged to ensure consistent and reliable reporting.
• Support recurring reporting and dashboard management across operations and leadership.
• Conduct audits of internal project wrap reports.
• Compile and maintain follow-up checklists to track client outreach after campaign completion.
• Participate in executive meetings to document key actions and follow up on deliverables.
• Use AI tools, such as Claude, to support operational workflows and improve project tracking.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to business growth initiatives.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Operations, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in business operations, sales operations, or strategic planning.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, specifically with spreadsheets and data tracking.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms is a plus; experience in HubSpot is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with senior leadership.
• A self-starter mindset with the ability to adapt to evolving priorities.

Location & details#

• Location: New York, NY (On-site).
• Term: Fall 2026 (September 14, 2026 – December 18, 2026).
• Commitment: 3 days per week.
• Requirements: Must be available to work in Eastern Standard Time (EST) and be eligible to receive college credit.
• Compensation: This is a paid internship.
