About the role#
Magnet Media is seeking a Social Media Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This role works closely with the SVP of marketing to contribute to digital marketing campaigns, market research, and event coordination. This is a paid, on-site internship based in New York, NY.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns across email, social media, and content marketing.
- Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies.
- Support the coordination of events, webinars, and other marketing initiatives.
- Track and analyze campaign performance using marketing analytics tools.
- Collaborate with design and content teams to develop marketing collateral, including graphics and presentations.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for marketing initiatives.
- Assist in maintaining and updating company website and social media pages.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Ability to receive college credit for the internship.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets); familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is a plus.
- Experience with social media platforms and an interest in industry trends.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools, such as Google Analytics or SEO, is a bonus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong organizational and time management skills.

- Location: New York, NY (On-site).
- Term: September 14, 2026 – December 18, 2026.
- Commitment: 3 days per week.
- Availability: Must be available to work in Eastern Standard Time (EST).
