About the role#
Magnet Media is seeking a Creative Development Intern for the Spring 2027 term. This role supports the Financial and Technology pods, providing hands-on experience in creative strategy and production for a diverse range of clients. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship based in New York City.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the creative development of projects, including video, live events, podcasts, and social campaigns.
- Write copy that complements design and effectively communicates ideas to clients.
- Contribute to creative presentations by integrating copy and visual elements.
- Conduct research to support various client engagements.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program related to graphic design, communications, or media studies.
- A current portfolio of creative work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign).
- Familiarity with Google Slides and effective research methods.
- An eagerness to learn, collaborate, and brainstorm within a creative team.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, NY (On-site).
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 11, 2027 – May 14, 2027).
- Commitment: 3 days per week.
- Requirements: Must be available to work in Eastern Standard Time (EST) and be eligible to receive college credit.
