Creative Development Intern (Spring 2027)

About the role#

Magnet Media is seeking a Creative Development Intern for the Spring 2027 term. This role supports the Financial and Technology pods, providing hands-on experience in creative strategy and production for a diverse range of clients. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship based in New York City.

What you'll do#

• Assist in the creative development of projects, including video, live events, podcasts, and social campaigns.
• Write copy that complements design and effectively communicates ideas to clients.
• Contribute to creative presentations by integrating copy and visual elements.
• Conduct research to support various client engagements.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a degree program related to graphic design, communications, or media studies.
• A current portfolio of creative work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign).
• Familiarity with Google Slides and effective research methods.
• An eagerness to learn, collaborate, and brainstorm within a creative team.

Location & details#

• Location: New York, NY (On-site).
• Term: Winter 2027 (January 11, 2027 – May 14, 2027).
• Commitment: 3 days per week.
• Requirements: Must be available to work in Eastern Standard Time (EST) and be eligible to receive college credit.
