About the role#
Magnet Media is looking for a Design Intern for the Fall 2026 term. You will work directly with the Head of Design, the VP of Marketing, and the Content Lead. This role involves supporting design initiatives across social media, newsletters, and blog posts. You will gain experience in bringing strategic storytelling to life while focusing on the technology and financial services sectors.
What you'll do#
- Create digital assets for social channels following established style guides.
- Assist with design requirements for weekly newsletters, blog posts, and site downloads.
- Support social media planning and posting efforts.
- Help the Content Lead organize and archive historical content like white papers and case studies.
- Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape within tech and finance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to marketing, communications, design, or a similar field.
- Basic graphic design skills and experience with photo and video editing tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.
- A working understanding of LinkedIn and Instagram best practices.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with analytics or scheduling tools like Hubspot and Google Analytics is a plus.
- Please provide a portfolio of your previous work.

- Term: September 14, 2026, to December 18, 2026.
- Commitment: 3 days per week.
- Requirements: Must be eligible to receive college credit and available to work in Eastern Standard Time.
