About the role#
As a Design Intern, you will collaborate across teams to support a wide range of design initiatives. You will work directly with the Head of Design, VP of Marketing, and Content Lead to bring strategic storytelling to life, particularly at the intersection of technology and financial trends. This role involves creating content for social media, newsletters, blog posts, and other key brand touchpoints.
What you'll do#
- Compose engaging digital assets for all social channels according to style guides.
- Assist with design needs for the weekly newsletter, blog posts, and various site downloads.
- Support social media planning and posting.
- Stay informed about industry trends and the competitive tech and financial services marketplace.
- Assist the Content Lead with the archival and organization of historical content, including white papers, case studies, and tip sheets.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a relevant degree program, such as marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and best practices, specifically LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Basic graphic design skills and knowledge of photo and video editing tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools, such as Hubspot or Google Analytics, is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a keen eye for detail.
- A portfolio showcasing previous work.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, NY (On-site).
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 14, 2026 to December 18, 2026).
- Commitment: 3 days a week.
- Requirements: Must be eligible to receive college credit and available to work in Eastern Standard Time.
- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship.
