About the role#
Magnet Media is seeking a Social Media Intern for the Winter 2027 term. This paid, on-site internship is based in New York and requires a commitment of three days per week. The role is designed for students who are eligible to receive college credit and are available to work in the Eastern Standard Time zone.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including email, social media, and content marketing.
- Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies.
- Support the team in coordinating events, webinars, and other marketing initiatives.
- Track and analyze campaign performance using marketing analytics tools.
- Collaborate with design and content teams to develop marketing collateral such as graphics and presentations.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.
- Maintain and update company social media pages and provide administrative support to the marketing team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, including Docs, Slides, and Sheets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to take initiative.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools like Google Analytics and SEO is a bonus.
