Social Media Intern

About the role#

Magnet Media, Inc. is seeking a Social Media Intern for the Winter 2027 term. This paid, on-site internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, copywriting, and graphic design while working alongside the marketing team in New York, NY.

What you'll do#

• Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including email, social media, and content marketing.
• Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies.
• Support the team in coordinating events, webinars, and other marketing initiatives.
• Track and analyze campaign performance using marketing analytics tools.
• Collaborate with design and content teams to develop marketing collateral, including graphics, presentations, and reports.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide administrative support to the marketing team.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a college degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Ability to receive college credit.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets).
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics and SEO.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.

• Location: New York, NY (On-site).
• Term: January 11, 2027 – May 14, 2027.
• Commitment: 3 days a week.
• Availability: Must be available to work in Eastern Standard Time (EST).
