About the role#
Magnet Media is looking for a Social Media Intern for the Winter 2027 term. This is a paid, on-site position based in New York. You will work directly with the SVP of marketing to support our digital strategy. This role requires a commitment of 3 days per week and eligibility to receive college credit.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns across email and social channels.
- Create and curate content for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform our strategy.
- Coordinate events, webinars, and other marketing initiatives.
- Track and analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and HubSpot.
- Collaborate with design teams to produce graphics, presentations, and reports.
- Help maintain and update company web pages.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Marketing, Communications, or Business.
- Ability to receive college credit for this internship.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing tools.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
