About the role#
The Global Nutrition Project Management team at Amway manages approximately 60 active projects focused on new product development and sales continuity. As the company shifts toward a health outcomes-based strategy, this team drives large-scale transformation across global regulatory, sourcing, and commercialization functions. You will work alongside project managers and cross-functional partners to support these initiatives, gaining exposure to both operational and strategic business processes.
What you'll do#
- Support priority transformation initiatives across the Global Nutrition Project Management organization.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate existing product portfolios to find overlaps, gaps, and chances for simplification.
- Research and assess how AI tools can improve project management workflows and productivity.
- Assist project managers with planning, reporting, and coordination for product development initiatives.
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize business data to create reports, dashboards, and recommendations for leadership.
- Present your findings and strategic recommendations to project and business leaders.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate status, having completed your junior year by the start of the internship, or seniors who will remain academically active through the term.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Data Science.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data organization, analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to gather, synthesize, and interpret data to inform business decisions.
- Comfort learning new project management tools and systems.
- Experience with AI tools for research, analysis, or productivity is highly desirable.
- Experience with Microsoft Project or similar software is a plus.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
- Initiative to work through ambiguity and identify solutions independently.
- Interest in change management, business transformation, and continuous improvement.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based in Ada, Michigan.
- You must be able to report to the office Monday through Thursday, with Friday as an optional remote day.
