Creative Development Intern

About the role#

As a Creative Development Intern at Magnet Media, you will work with the creative team to support the Financial and Technology pods. This role offers hands-on experience in copywriting and visual design for a variety of projects, ranging from small businesses to large-scale corporate clients.

What you'll do#

• Assist in the creative development of projects, including video, live events, podcasts, and social campaigns.
• Write copy that complements design and effectively communicates ideas to clients.
• Contribute to creative presentations by incorporating both copy and visuals.
• Conduct research to support various client engagements.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a degree program related to graphic design, communications, or media.
• A portfolio of your creative work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with effective research methods.
• A passion for creative storytelling and visual communication.
• Eagerness to collaborate and brainstorm with the creative team.
• Familiarity with Google Slides is considered a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign) is considered an additional plus.

Location & details#

• Location: New York, New York (On-site).
• Term: Fall 2026 (September 14, 2026 – December 18, 2026).
• Commitment: 3 days per week.
• Requirements: Must be eligible to receive college credit and available to work in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone.
• Compensation: This is a paid internship.
