About the role#
As a Radiology Technician 2nd Year Student, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Radiology Technologist to support diagnostic imaging services. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience while contributing to a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
What you'll do#
- Take diagnostic radiographs of various body parts to assist medical staff in diagnosing injuries, diseases, and the location of foreign bodies.
- Develop and prepare films for clinical interpretation.
- Maintain necessary supplies and ensure imaging equipment is cleaned and organized in assigned areas.
- Assist in maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment and good standing as a 2nd-year student in an accredited Radiography Program.
- Demonstrated competencies in the radiologic exams being performed.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to work in an on-site clinical setting.
