Radiology Technician 2nd Yr Student, PRN

About the role#

As a Radiology Technician Student, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Radiology Technologist to support diagnostic imaging services. This role is designed for students currently enrolled in an accredited program to gain clinical experience while assisting with patient care and equipment maintenance.

What you'll do#

• Take diagnostic radiographs of various body parts to assist medical staff in diagnosing injuries, diseases, and identifying foreign bodies.
• Develop and prepare films for interpretation.
• Maintain supplies and ensure equipment in assigned areas is kept clean and functional.

What you'll need#

• Must be an active student in good standing in an approved Radiologic Technology course.
• Must be currently enrolled in the 2nd year of an accredited Radiography Program.
• Ability to demonstrate competency in the radiologic exams being performed.
• Obtain AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
