About the role#
This is a PRN position for a 2nd-year Radiologic Technology student at North Alabama Medical Center. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Radiology Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging support and assist in maintaining a safe, therapeutic clinical environment.
What you'll do#
- Take diagnostic radiographs of various body parts to assist medical staff in diagnosing injuries, diseases, and the location of foreign bodies.
- Develop and prepare films for clinical interpretation.
- Maintain necessary supplies and clean equipment in your assigned areas.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in good standing as a 2nd-year student in an accredited Radiography Program.
- Demonstrated competency in the radiologic exams being performed.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, which must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
