About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship within the Electro-Optical and Infrared Systems line of business. You will work on-site in Dallas for a 12 to 14 week term during the summer of 2027. You will gain hands-on experience by collaborating with experienced software engineers on projects from start to finish.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside and learn from experienced software engineers.
- Conduct limited scope testing and design analysis under supervision.
- Gather and assemble project data.
- Provide regular updates on your progress and status.
- Support and represent the mission and culture of the organization.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university as a Junior or Senior.
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Classroom or practical experience with formal data structures.
- Proficiency in C, C++, or C#.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team.
- U.S. Citizenship is required to access US only data systems.
- Ability to obtain an active DOD security clearance.
