About the role#
We are looking for an Embedded Software Intern to join our engineering team in Springville. You will work directly with our embedded systems engineers on mainline projects. This role is flexible and can be tailored to your specific skills and interests across our various radar projects.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop new radar features.
- Find the root cause of issues and implement fixes.
- Support our continuous testing efforts.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a BS or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and Git.
- Experience with multithreaded design, debugging, and cross-compiling toolchains.
- Familiarity with communications protocols like TCP, UDP, PCIe, I2C, and SPI.
- Experience with Docker containers and Linux environments, including BASH, SSH, Python/C++ bindings, and kernel drivers.
- Interest in software architecture principles.
- Familiarity with AS9100 standards.
- Experience with prompt engineering and LLM-assisted coding.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
