About the role#
IMSAR is looking for an Application Software Intern to join our engineering team in Springville, Utah. This is a paid, part-time, on-site position. You will work directly with our software engineers on mainline projects from your first day.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with our software team.
- Contribute to important mainline projects immediately.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a BS or higher in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Working knowledge of Rust.
- Experience or interest in automated software testing, specifically custom GUI testing.
- Familiarity with tools including Git, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, and Word.
- Experience with Prompt Engineering or LLM-assisted coding.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- A self-motivated, proactive approach to gathering requirements across diverse teams.
- An eagerness to learn.
