About the role#
IMSAR is hiring an intern for the Physical AI team. You will work directly with our software engineers on mainline projects. This is a part-time role based in Springville, Utah.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the engineering team.
- Contribute to software development.
- Work on active, high-priority projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an upper-division undergraduate or graduate program in Applied Math, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in Python (PyTorch, NumPy, SciPy) or C++.
- Core skills in DSP, linear algebra, state estimation, or electromagnetics.
- Experience with machine learning, SLAM, or multi-modal sensor fusion.
- Exposure to radar signal processing, such as SAR, GMTI, adaptive signal processing, or phase history processing.
- Bonus points for side projects or research in physical AI, DSP, or spatial data pipelines.
