About the role#
The Senior Technical Intern role at Leonardo DRS involves supporting engineering teams with daily assignments in West Plains, Missouri. You will gain exposure to company methods, programs, and practices while assisting staff with technical projects. This position is open to students currently pursuing an engineering degree who are ready to learn and contribute to our team.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers with various engineering assignments and design details.
- Perform limited scope testing under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Gather and assemble data for engineering analysis.
- Conduct design analysis and calculations as assigned.
- Complete tasks on time to support project goals.
- Build professional networks and develop interpersonal skills within the engineering department.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an engineering degree program, including Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to be diligent, hardworking, and quick to learn.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
