About the role#
The Member Relations Communications Intern joins the Member Governance and Shared Services team to support engagement initiatives for our member-owners. You will spend the summer working on projects that improve how we connect with members and customers. This role provides hands-on experience in a cooperative business model.
What you'll do#
- Research industry best practices for member-facing and customer-facing websites.
- Evaluate the user experience of the Land O’Lakes member site to identify improvements for content, design, and navigation.
- Implement approved updates to the site to enhance member engagement.
- Assist with communications projects, including content development, member email distribution, and the promotion of training programs.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Sophomore standing or higher.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.

- This is a full-time, on-site internship located in Arden Hills, Minnesota.
- The position runs from May 2027 through July 2027.
- This is a paid position.
