About the role#
KENT WORLDWIDE is offering a paid, full-time internship for students interested in sales and animal nutrition. You will work within the Kent Nutrition Group to learn about sales strategies, product solutions, and customer relationship management. This role provides direct exposure to both inside and outside sales activities, including field visits with Territory Sales Managers.
What you'll do#
- Work with Sales, Marketing, Nutrition, and Operations teams to promote company products.
- Attend sales meetings, industry activities, and customer events.
- Collaborate with the Inside Sales team to contact customers and prospects.
- Develop skills in consultative selling, negotiation, and account management alongside experienced team members.
- Join Territory Sales Managers on customer visits to observe field operations.
- Use CRM and Power BI tools to manage records, generate leads, and plan territories.
- Research market trends and customer opportunities.
- Present a summary of your projects and experiences to company leadership at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program, specifically in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
- Status as a student who will return to school after the internship concludes.
- An interest in agriculture, animal nutrition, and business development.
- Ability to communicate clearly with a focus on customer needs and collaboration.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort using business technology.
- A proactive approach to learning and the ability to adapt to new tasks.
- Willingness to travel as part of the role.
