About the role#
As a Sales Support Specialist Intern at Kent Worldwide, you will gain hands-on experience supporting our Sqwincher hydration business. You will work directly with customers and experienced sales professionals to deliver hydration education and support engagement efforts. This is a full-time, paid role for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Deliver 15 to 30 minute hydration training sessions at industrial customer locations.
- Conduct onsite product demonstrations and educate customers on hydration best practices.
- Call on approximately 15 customer locations per week.
- Answer customer questions and provide product recommendations based on training guidelines.
- Enter visit notes and follow-up activities into the company CRM system.
- Capture and relay customer feedback to sales management.
- Participate in trade shows, customer events, or onsite activations.
- Represent the company professionally in all interactions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Distribution, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and comfort speaking with small groups.
- Ability to follow a structured training script while engaging customers.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a weekly visit schedule.
- Basic computer skills and comfort using CRM systems.
- Ability to lift and transport light product samples or demonstration materials.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and personal auto insurance.
- Ability to drive your own vehicle for daily customer visits.
- Must pass pre-employment screening.
Location & details#
- This is a remote, field-based role with travel required within your assigned territory.
- Positions are available in Houston and Dallas, TX; Birmingham, AL; Phoenix, AZ; Indianapolis, IN; Charlotte, NC; Stillwater, OK; Pittsburgh, PA; and Richmond, VA.
- This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) running from mid-May through mid-August.
- Mileage is reimbursed per company policy.
