About the role#
The Culinary Center Intern joins an 11-week program based in Arden Hills, Minnesota. This position offers hands-on experience in a food manufacturing environment. You will work on projects involving recipe development, sales enablement, and product innovation.
What you'll do#
- Complete an orientation focused on culinary research and kitchen execution.
- Rotate through three project phases covering sales enablement, content development, and innovation.
- Develop practical tools for sales teams and explore new product ideas.
- Taste, critique, and provide feedback on retail and foodservice products.
- Prepare a final presentation to showcase your project results and reflect on your professional growth.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Culinary Arts, Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Completion of at least one year of undergraduate coursework by Summer 2027.
- Hands-on experience in a kitchen, lab, or foodservice setting.
- Proficiency in basic culinary and cooking methods.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn.
- Preferred: ServSafe certification, experience with recipe testing, or skills in food photography and video.
