About the role#
This summer internship supports the sales and marketing functions of the Forage Genetics International organization. You will gain exposure to research and development, sales operations, and territory management. The role offers a blend of desk work and field experience, including shadowing account managers and planning field days.
What you'll do#
- Create marketing materials, communication initiatives, and branding campaigns.
- Perform market analysis and data analytics to understand consumer insights.
- Support the sales team and customers with internal systems.
- Participate in sales calls and assist with sales meeting preparation.
- Learn the fundamentals of territory management and sales concepts.
What you'll need#
- Current sophomore or junior status pursuing a bachelor’s degree in ag business, agronomy, ag economics, ag marketing, business administration, business analytics, management information systems, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong writing, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time to prioritize projects.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to give and receive feedback.
- Attention to detail and a resourceful approach to problem-solving.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
- Prior experience in the agriculture industry is a plus.

- Location: Arden Hills, Minnesota.
- Term: Summer 2027 (11 weeks, May through August).
- Modality: On-site.
