About the role#
The L'Oréal USA Summer Internship is a paid, 11-week program designed to integrate students into the daily operations of our Sustainability team. You will lead an individual strategic project and present your findings to senior leadership at the end of the summer. This role offers the opportunity to be considered for a full-time return offer into our Management Trainee program upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Implement the L'Oréal for the Future global program to help transform our business model.
- Collaborate across Sourcing, Packaging Engineering, IT, and Marketing teams to embed sustainable practices and reduce waste.
- Support sustainable sourcing initiatives, including supply chain data collection and supplier engagement on carbon reduction.
- Execute projects related to sustainable packaging goals, including research on policy and NGO perspectives.
- Assist marketing teams in communicating sustainability efforts by researching consumer insights and developing retailer engagement materials.
- Support the Sustainability team with philanthropy, communications, and employee learning initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 4-year college or university with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and July 2028.
- A minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Ability to start working full-time in September 2028 upon graduation.
- Willingness to relocate to any USA-based office with an internship opening.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship.

- Locations: New York, New York and El Segundo, California.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
- Compensation: $27-$30 per hour, depending on location.
