About the role#
This Summer 2027 internship offers hands-on experience in Environmental Services at St. Luke's Hospital of Kansas City. You will work closely with leadership to develop operational skills and gain a foundation in healthcare support services. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position designed to build your career in business operations.
What you'll do#
- Execute operational standards and maintain a safe work environment.
- Respond to requests and concerns with urgency.
- Monitor facility security and proactively identify quality assurance issues.
- Provide guidance, motivation, and training to staff members.
- Bring creativity and innovation to the program.
- Handle special projects and requests as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college or university junior or senior.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills for both written reports and oral presentations.
- Ability to stay organized and manage priorities.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- An interest in a career with Crothall Healthcare and the Accelerated Manager Program is preferred.

- Compensation: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour.
