About the role#
This internship offers a hands-on experience within the Environmental Services group at Crothall Healthcare. You will work alongside leaders to develop skills in healthcare support services. The role involves managing hospital cleanliness, scheduling, training frontline staff, and supporting patient experience efforts. You will gain a practical foundation for a career in Business Operations.
What you'll do#
- Execute operational standards and maintain a safe work environment.
- Respond to requests with urgency and take corrective action when necessary.
- Ensure facility security and proactively identify quality assurance concerns.
- Bring creativity and innovation to the program.
- Manage staff orientation, training, and motivation.
- Handle special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a college junior or senior.
- You can communicate effectively with everyone from hourly staff to the Director level.
- You maintain organization and establish priorities in a changing environment.
- You possess strong customer service skills.
- You have experience with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- An interest in a career with Crothall Healthcare and the Accelerated Manager Program is preferred.

- Location: Chicago, Illinois.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Pay: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour.
- Work Modality: On-site, full-time position.
