    About the role#

    This internship is part of the Molson Coors Early Talent Program. You will join the Corporate Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) team to work alongside Technical Services, Operations, and plant leadership. This role provides hands-on exposure to high hazard industrial processes such as ammonia refrigeration, CO2 systems, boilers, and pressure vessels. You will focus on the regulatory requirements and safety controls used to manage these environments.

    What you'll do#

    • Learn the mechanics of high hazard industrial processes, including chemical management, confined space entry, and electrical safety.
    • Manage projects aimed at reducing safety risks at brewery sites, from initial data gathering through implementation.
    • Participate in risk assessments, incident management, and safety audits.
    • Analyze safety data, including incidents and near-misses, to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
    • Update safety procedures, SOPs, and training materials.
    • Conduct in-person walkthroughs of critical safety systems.
    • Present project results and recommendations to EHS and plant leadership.
    • Engage in professional development, networking events, and training sessions.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for engineering, specifically chemical, mechanical, electrical, or industrial disciplines.
    • A genuine interest in industrial safety, process safety, or occupational health.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
    • Willingness to travel to brewery sites.
    • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
