About the role#
As a Pharmacist Intern, you will work on-site to provide essential pharmacy services while gaining practical experience. This is a full-time, paid internship role that operates on a rolling basis. You will support the pharmacy team in maintaining a safe, clean environment and delivering quality care to our customers.
What you'll do#
- Provide drug counseling to customers.
- Administer immunizations under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
- Accept and interpret both oral and written prescriptions for new fills and refills.
- Process third party insurance information for customers.
- Assist customers with recommendations for over the counter medications.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a United States school of pharmacy.
- A current, state-issued Pharmacy Intern license.
- Proficiency in inputting patient and prescription data into pharmacy computer systems.
- The ability to perform all essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.
