About the role#
As a Pharmacy Student Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting. You will work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist to support patient care and pharmacy operations. This role is a paid, full-time opportunity with rolling start dates.
What you'll do#
- Perform pharmacy duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
- Fill prescriptions while following all laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Provide advice and consultation to customers regarding drug therapy and prescription knowledge.
- Implement company initiatives to help increase pharmacy profitability.
- Participate in clinical services, including patient counseling, immunizations, and disease state management.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.
- A valid state intern license, if required by Idaho state law.
- Ability to work as part of a team and cooperate with colleagues.
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in work schedules and priorities.
