About the role#
Kennedy Jenks is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern for our 2027 Kickstart Internship Program based in Pasadena. You will work with project teams to address water resources, water quality, and wastewater treatment challenges for our clients. This role offers exposure to projects throughout the United States while providing mentorship and professional development opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Perform field work, technical calculations, and report preparation.
- Draft pre-construction documentation, design plans, and specifications.
- Manage ongoing project tasks and communicate with team members and clients.
- Attend and contribute to client meetings.
- Visit project sites to support project-related activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program for Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
- Completion of at least junior year standing in an accredited engineering program.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Pasadena, California.
- The role follows a hybrid work model with at least two days per week in the office.
- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
- Compensation ranges from $21 to $26 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
- Interns are eligible for medical coverage or a monthly stipend, a cell phone cost allowance, 401(k) participation, and accrued paid sick time.
