About the role#
Kennedy Jenks is hiring a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern for our 2027 Kickstart Internship Program. You will join project teams to address challenges in water resources, water quality, and wastewater treatment. This role offers the chance to work on projects across the United States while receiving mentorship and professional development.
What you'll do#
- Support project teams with water treatment and recycled water planning.
- Perform technical calculations and prepare reports.
- Create design plans and specifications.
- Visit project sites and document conditions.
- Attend and contribute to client meetings.
- Network with team members and clients.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Major in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
- Completion of at least junior year standing in an accredited engineering program.
Location & details#
- Location: Irvine, California.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with a minimum of two days per week in the office.
- Employment Type: Full-time internship.
- Compensation: $21 to $26 per hour.
- Benefits: Includes medical coverage or a monthly stipend, a monthly cell phone allowance, 401(k) participation, and accrued paid sick time.
