About the role#
Kennedy Jenks is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term in Monterey, California. This full-time internship provides experience in water resources, water quality, and treatment projects. You will work with professional teams on planning and implementation tasks for clients in the water environment, transportation, and industrial sectors.
What you'll do#
- Support project teams with water resource and treatment solutions.
- Perform field work, technical calculations, and report writing.
- Prepare design plans, specifications, and pre-construction documentation.
- Manage ongoing project tasks and communicate with team members.
- Attend and contribute to client meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program for Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
- Completion of at least junior year (third-year) standing in an accredited engineering program.
Location & details#
- Location: Monterey, CA.
- Modality: Hybrid, with a minimum of two days per week in the office.
- Compensation: $21 to $26 per hour.
