About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the engineering field during the summer of 2027. You will work directly with our engineering staff to support active projects and gain exposure to the mapping and surveying industries. The program includes mentorship, site visits, and regular meetings with senior leadership to discuss career goals.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering staff with project progression tasks.
- Assist with construction specifications and engineering calculations.
- Help with drafting work as needed.
- Learn to use engineering software such as M-FAD and PLS-CADD.
- Participate in weekly feedback sessions to track your progress and ask questions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Master's student.
- Pursuing a degree in Civil, Environmental, Construction, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Strong verbal and technical writing skills.
- You must be authorized to work in the U.S.

- This position is based in Lakewood, Colorado.
- This is an on-site, paid, full-time internship.
- The term runs for 2 to 3 months during the summer of 2027.
