About the role#
This internship provides exposure to infrastructure civil engineering and construction management. You will work on a rotational basis to learn about our three core business areas: infrastructure design, construction management, and broadband. This role is based in Fort Collins, Colorado, and involves both office and field work.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through our business units to gain a broad understanding of our operations.
- Help prepare project documentation and daily logs for status updates and inspections.
- Operate survey equipment and tools.
- Shadow team members in the Project Management and Construction Management departments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to manage time well and prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication skills to build relationships with clients, vendors, and the public.
- Commitment to maintaining company and client confidentiality.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check, along with a satisfactory driving record.
