    About the role#

    As a Facilities Services Intern, you will support the infrastructure that powers Intel's semiconductor manufacturing. You will gain hands-on experience in areas such as chemical management, water treatment, instrumentation and controls, and environmental health and safety. This role is a full-time, paid internship with terms available in Spring and Summer 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Support engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Analyze system and equipment performance to identify improvement opportunities.
    • Assist with troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and technical problem solving.
    • Contribute to the safe, reliable, and sustainable operation of critical facility systems.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to solve real-world engineering challenges.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Instrumentation and Controls, Microelectronics, Renewable Energy Technology, Environmental Technology, Water/Purification Engineering, or a related STEM field.
    • At least 3 months of experience in engineering, research, technical, or analytical work.
    • A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to work in teams, communicate effectively, and lead projects.

    Location & details#

    • This position is on-site at Intel facilities in Hillsboro, Oregon; Folsom, California; Santa Clara, California; or Phoenix, Arizona.
    • This role is not eligible for employment-based visa or immigration sponsorship.
