    About the role#

    Kennedy Jenks is seeking a Construction Management Intern for the 2027 summer term in Seattle. This full-time, on-site role supports project teams working on water resources, wastewater, and water treatment projects. You will work alongside professionals to deliver engineering and construction management services while gaining hands-on experience in the field and office.

    What you'll do#

    • Participate in field work, including field verification and confirming as-built conditions.
    • Prepare technical reports and calculations.
    • Assist with the preparation and interpretation of plans and specifications.
    • Monitor project communications between the contractor, owner, and engineer.
    • Attend construction meetings and develop meeting agendas and minutes.

    What you'll need#

    • Current pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
    • Completion of at least two years of qualified study.
    • Experience with GIS or CAD is preferred.

    • Location: Seattle, Washington.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: $21.00 to $26.00 per hour.
    • Benefits: Includes medical coverage or a monthly stipend, a cell phone cost allowance, 401(k) participation, and accrued paid sick time.
