About the role#
Pape-Dawson is hiring Survey Interns for the summer of 2027. You will work with our teams in Georgia to assist clients with land survey development. This is a full-time, paid position that requires on-site work.
What you'll do#
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D software to prepare boundary and topographic surveys and subdivision plats.
- Process, extract, and analyze field survey data.
- Collaborate with project surveyors and project managers to create plans and survey base mapping.
- Perform quality assurance and standards checks on projects.
- Conduct field work, including site inspections, research, and quality assurance tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or recent graduation from an accredited program in Surveying, Geospatial Sciences, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience with field surveying or relevant coursework.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and clear communication.
- Exposure to GEOPAK, Open Roads, MicroStation, or drone flights is a plus.

- This internship is based in Marietta, Newnan, Duluth, Canton, or Calhoun, Georgia.
- The term runs during the summer of 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time role.
