About the role#
As a Platform Hardware and Systems Engineering intern, you will contribute to projects that support the future of computing. You will work alongside engineers and technical leaders to gain hands-on experience in the semiconductor industry. This role involves participating in the full technology lifecycle, from research and design to manufacturing and deployment.
What you'll do#
- Perform hardware and systems architecture, design, and integration tasks.
- Conduct platform validation, debug, and performance optimization.
- Work on power, thermal, and signal integrity engineering.
- Utilize programming, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Engage in cross-functional work to advance platform capabilities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, or a related STEM field.
- At least 3 months of experience gained through coursework, academic projects, research, internships, co-ops, student organizations, or assistantships.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills for team-based environments.

- Locations: Hillsboro, OR; Folsom, CA; Santa Clara, CA; Austin, TX; Phoenix, AZ.
- Terms: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Employment Type: Full-time, paid internship.
