About the role#
Dewberry is looking for a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern to join our Parsippany, New Jersey office for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position where you will support our team on projects for commercial and government clients. Please note that we do not offer housing stipends or work authorization sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Assist with drainage design calculations for roadway storm sewer systems.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for bridges, culverts, and waterways.
- Prepare engineering plans.
- Draft design reports and permit applications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.S. program for Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
