About the role#
Dewberry is seeking a Landscape Architect Intern for the summer of 2027 to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This full-time, paid internship integrates you into our design practice where you will work on projects at various stages of development. You will collaborate with our team and interact with clients and contractors while gaining hands-on experience in the field.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the completion of landscape design projects.
- Prepare landscape architecture project plan sets.
- Use AutoCAD for design and detailing tasks.
- Make corrections to plans based on redlines.
- Attend project and client meetings alongside design professionals.
- Contribute to team discussions and design work.
- Assist with grant writing and resiliency projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program for Landscape Architecture or Urban Planning.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, ArcGIS, Lumion, and Rhino.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A meticulous approach to detail.
