About the role#
We are looking for an EHS Intern to support our Test Operations, R&D, and Manufacturing teams. You will work alongside engineers, technicians, and safety professionals to maintain safe and efficient operations. This role involves hands-on experience in hazard identification, safety program support, and compliance management across our engineering and laboratory environments.
What you'll do#
- Support safety and compliance activities in test, lab, manufacturing, and engineering areas.
- Assist with safety inspections, risk assessments, safety reviews, and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
- Maintain EHS documentation, permits, records, and compliance materials.
- Track safety metrics, observations, and follow-up actions.
- Support contractor safety, Hot Work Permits, and emergency preparedness activities.
- Identify hazards and assist with corrective or preventative actions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Health Sciences, Public Health, Biology, Industrial Hygiene, Construction Safety, or Safety Management.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Basic knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment, or safety and compliance principles.
- Comfort working in hands-on test, manufacturing, laboratory, and industrial environments.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
