About the role#
As a summer 2027 intern with the Industrial Environmental team, you will perform hands-on work that connects your classroom experience to real-world projects. You will work alongside scientists, environmental professionals, and engineers to support client objectives and environmental stewardship.
What you'll do#
- Assist with environmental data collection, scientific research, technical analyses, and report preparation.
- Work on projects involving mine reclamation, industrial water and wastewater treatment, and environmental compliance.
- Participate in permitting and solid waste management facility projects.
- Perform environmental assessments in the office or in the field, including observations and data collection.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in environmental science, geology, environmental studies, biology, or a related scientific field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to conduct research and write technical reports.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a team.
