About the role#
As a civil engineering intern on the Data Centers Site Design team, you will contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience and apply your classroom knowledge to real-world design challenges. This is a paid, full-time summer 2027 internship based in Omaha.
What you'll do#
- Assist with creating construction plans for site layouts, grading, stormwater, and utilities.
- Use AutoCAD to develop technical designs.
- Perform research and write technical reports.
- Travel to job sites to observe project progress.
- Collaborate with team members on complex engineering projects.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
