About the role#
KEITH is hiring a Transportation Civil Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will work from our Miami office to assist with planning, design, production, and construction tasks for public and private sector projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform CAD design and drafting using MicroStation, ORD, and AutoCAD.
- Complete engineering calculations, data research, and analysis.
- Work on transportation, roadway, traffic, and utility design.
- Research, compile, and prepare materials for permit applications.
- Coordinate project activities across internal and external disciplines.
- Attend and contribute to design and production meetings.
- Conduct site visits.
- Learn fundamental engineering processes and construction methods.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues.
- A proactive, self-starting attitude and a drive to learn.
