About the role#
KEITH is hiring a Civil Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will work from our Port Saint Lucie office to support our site development, stormwater, and utility projects. This is a full-time, paid internship designed to provide hands-on experience with engineering processes, construction methods, and permitting for both public and private-sector clients.
What you'll do#
- Create designs and drafts using CAD software.
- Prepare contract documents in AutoCAD.
- Research, compile, and organize materials for permit applications.
- Coordinate project activities with internal and external teams.
- Participate in design and production meetings.
- Perform engineering calculations and data analysis.
- Assist with site design, grading, drainage, and utility planning.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
- You are a self-starter with a drive to learn.
- You communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats.
- You work well with clients and colleagues at all levels.
