About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in our Los Angeles office for Summer 2027. You will work alongside engineers and BIM designers to gain practical experience in structural engineering. The role focuses on hands-on project work, technical skill development, and mentorship.
What you'll do#
- Perform preliminary structural analysis and design for various construction types.
- Complete Revit detailing and drafting tasks.
- Review shop drawings and submittals for construction support.
- Visit active construction sites to assist with ongoing projects.
- Coordinate project details with our engineering and BIM teams.
- Develop your technical expertise through direct mentorship and project involvement.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering at an ABET-accredited university.
- You are in your 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate studies or are currently in a master's program.
- You have strong communication skills.
- You are collaborative and approachable, with the ability to work independently or as part of a group.
- You have a genuine interest in structural design and construction support.
