About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in our Houston office. You will work alongside engineers and BIM designers to gain practical experience in structural engineering. This role focuses on hands-on learning through mentorship and direct involvement in project tasks.
What you'll do#
- Perform preliminary structural analysis and design for various project types.
- Complete Revit detailing and drafting tasks.
- Review shop drawings and submittals as part of construction support services.
- Visit construction sites to assist with ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate project details.
- Develop your technical skills through structured mentorship.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- You are a 3rd or 4th-year undergraduate or a master's degree student.
- You communicate effectively and work well both independently and in a team.
- You have a genuine interest in structural design and construction support.
