About the role#
KEITH is hiring a Transportation Civil Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term in Orlando, Florida. This is a full-time, paid position focused on supporting our private and public-sector projects. You will gain hands-on experience with engineering processes, construction methods, and permitting.
What you'll do#
- Perform CAD design and drafting using MicroStation, ORD, and AutoCAD.
- Assist with transportation, roadway, and utility design.
- Conduct traffic analysis and engineering calculations.
- Research and compile data for permit applications.
- Coordinate project activities with internal and external teams.
- Attend design and production meetings.
- Visit project sites to observe construction and engineering work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors degree program for Civil Engineering.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to work with clients and colleagues.
- A proactive, enthusiastic approach to learning.
- A self-starter mindset with a positive attitude.
