About the role#
This 9-week summer program places you within the Human Resources department at JPMorganChase. You will work on live business problems alongside HR product owners, analytics teams, and business leaders. The program serves as a primary pipeline for the full-time Human Resources Analyst Development Program. You will participate in structured training, mentorship, and networking opportunities throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Own one end-to-end project tied to a business priority, such as analyzing attrition drivers or evaluating HR technology workflows.
- Collaborate across Human Resources and with business stakeholders to design and deliver people strategies.
- Develop capabilities in critical thinking, problem solving, and applying a digital-first mindset.
- Use AI tools to accelerate research and analysis while validating outputs and applying professional judgment.
- Present your project deliverable and recommendations to senior stakeholders at the end of the program.
- Participate in structured training sessions and mentorship programming.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a B.A., B.S., or 5th-year M.A. or M.S. degree with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Demonstrated interest in Human Resources and the future of work through coursework, clubs, research, or prior projects.
- Data literacy, including an interest in using analytics to generate insights and inform decision-making.
- Proficiency with Excel and the ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Active experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot in your studies or projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, and collaborate across teams.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt to changing environments.
