About the role#
This nine-week summer internship introduces participants to the Financial Advisor Development Program at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. Analysts gain hands-on experience in wealth management while developing professional and technical skills. The program provides access to mentors, senior leaders, and a dedicated program manager to support growth. Successful completion of this internship may lead to an offer for the full-time Financial Advisor Development Program.
What you'll do#
- Learn the fundamentals of working with clients in a service-oriented role.
- Gain knowledge of investment products through in-depth industry training.
- Receive dedicated time to study for and complete the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam.
- Engage in group projects and job shadowing opportunities.
What you'll need#
- A well-rounded academic background in fields such as Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- A strong interest in providing exceptional client service and financial advice.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Motivation to obtain and pass the FINRA SIE exam.
- The ability to build relationships effectively over the phone and in person.
- The ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment.
