About the role#
This Supply Chain LDP Co-Op role involves complex technical work related to the design, manufacture, and operation of systems, machines, and structures. You will work on assignments with complex objectives that require investigating multiple variables and often lack clear precedents. This position requires the ability to exercise independent judgment on specific project details.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support for project planning, development, and implementation.
- Contribute to the development of engineering standards.
- Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to management.
- Perform tasks such as equipment design, material testing, process studies, research investigations, and report preparation.
- Follow all company guidelines regarding health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (Senior) or Master's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Chemistry, Business Administration, or Mathematics.
- 0-2 years of work experience.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
- Knowledge of statistical process control and health and safety requirements.
- Understanding of manufacturing concepts like OEE and SOL, as well as cost management principles like COGS and Design to Value.
- Awareness of engineering specialties, including Quality Engineering and New Product Introduction teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for process improvement projects.
- An organized, analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Lean or Six Sigma knowledge is preferred.
