About the role#
The Immunology Clinical Scientist Intern program offers an immersive learning experience within the Immunology Therapeutic Area. You will join a clinical development team to contribute to trial activities and gain exposure to the implementation of clinical strategies across Phase I-III immunology studies. This role involves collaborating with colleagues across scientific, medical, operational, and regulatory disciplines in a global environment. You will complete one primary research project and present your findings at an internal research symposium.
What you'll do#
- Support cross-functional trial team activities including protocol development, literature reviews, and clinical study report preparation.
- Assist with clinical trial conduct, including patient tracking, eligibility reviews, and document management within the electronic master file.
- Review and clean clinical data, generate and resolve queries, and assist in the interpretation of research results.
- Develop study training materials and support trial start-up, conduct, and close-out activities.
- Shadow key clinical roles and participate in department meetings to build foundational knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and ICH guidelines.
- Lead specific program or group projects and present work to project teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in biology, chemistry, nursing, public health, biomedical engineering, or related clinical fields.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Undergraduate students must have completed at least four semesters; graduate students must be pursuing a master’s, PharmD, Physician Assistant, or PhD degree.
- Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through campus or service programs.
- Ability to balance multiple project deliverables and work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Work Modality: Hybrid (requires on-site presence three days per week).
