About the role#
Meridian Health Services is looking for a Master's level clinical intern to join our Child and Family Services program in Delaware County. You will gain experience in a healthcare environment that focuses on the integration of physical, mental, and social well-being. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
What you'll do#
You will work under the direct supervision of licensed therapists to support patient care. Your daily tasks include:
- Observing clinical services and assisting with patient assessments.
- Conducting interviews and psychological testing.
- Collaborating with the treatment team to build individualized care plans.
- Providing therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families.
- Implementing evidence-based interventions.
- Participating in case conferences and treatment planning meetings.
- Maintaining accurate patient records while following confidentiality policies.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development and training.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's degree program for Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Proof of auto insurance and a driving record that meets our internal policy.
- Ability to pass a drug screen, TB test, extensive background check, and fingerprinting process.
