Meridian Health Services is seeking a Masters Level Clinical Social Worker intern for the Outpatient and Addictions program in Delaware County, Indiana. This role focuses on whole-person healthcare, integrating physical, mental, and social well-being. You will work under the supervision of licensed therapists to provide direct patient care and support clinical operations.
What you'll do#
- Observe clinical services and assist licensed therapists with patient assessments, including interviews and testing.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions under supervision.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to create individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to help patient progress.
- Participate in case conferences and treatment planning meetings.
- Maintain accurate patient records while following legal and ethical standards.
- Adhere to patient confidentiality policies.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to build clinical skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's degree program in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
- Driving record that meets company policy.
- Ability to pass a drug screen, TB test, extensive background check, and fingerprinting.
